Extraiga

Turn purchase orders into an Excel sheet

Purchase orders arrive as PDFs, scans, and photos. Retyping them into a tracker takes time and is easy to get wrong. Extraiga lets you upload the pile, name the columns you need, check the cells it marks, and export one sheet. It works the same way as [invoices to Excel](/invoices-to-excel).

Each purchase order file becomes one row, so fields work best as header details such as PO number, supplier, date, and total. If you need every item as its own row, this is the wrong tool.

How it works

  1. Upload purchase orders as PDFs, images, or TIFFs (up to 20 MB each). Batch several at once.
  2. Name your fields. Examples: PO number, Supplier, Order date, Total. Each field is a column. Each file is one row. There is no fixed PO template.
  3. Check Needs review, then export. Review highlighted cells against the original page, then export to Excel, CSV, or Google Sheets.

Typed and handwritten purchase orders both work, including scans and photos. Extraiga is a website, so there's no app to install.

Use cases

  • Small businesses — Keep one sheet of the purchase orders you have sent or received.
  • Ops and procurement assistants — Move PO details from PDFs into a tracker.
  • Bookkeepers — Collect client purchase orders into one list.
  • Virtual assistants — Turn scanned or photographed POs into columns a client can use.
