Turn business cards into an Excel contact list
After an event, a stack of business cards can take an evening to type up. With Extraiga, you upload the card photos, name the columns you want, check the cells it marks, and export a contact list. It works the same way as [handwritten forms to Excel](/handwritten-forms-to-excel).
Each card is its own file, and each file becomes one row. Extraiga is a website, so there's no app to install.
How it works
- Upload card photos or scans as images, PDF, or TIFF (up to 20 MB each), one card per file. Add the stack.
- Name your fields. Examples: Name, Company, Title, Email, Phone. Each field is a column. Each file is one row.
- Check Needs review, then export. Check highlighted cells against the original card, then export to Excel, CSV, or Google Sheets.
Before you import the list anywhere, take a look at emails and phone numbers against the cards. They are the details that matter most to get right.
Use cases
- Event follow-up — Turn the cards you collected into a list you can work through.
- Sales and recruiting — Keep contacts from meetings in one sheet.
- Networking groups — Share a member list built from cards.
- Small offices — Digitize a drawer of old cards.

- Yes. Add the stack as a batch, with each card as its own file (up to 20 MB each). Each card becomes one row.
- Can I export the contacts to Google Sheets or CSV?
- Yes. Exports are Excel, CSV, and Google Sheets.
- Do the cards have to be typed, or does handwriting work too?
- Both work. Extraiga works with handwritten and typed pages, including scans and photos. Check any highlighted Needs review cells against the card.
